Environmental Policy
Top Selection Ltd recognizes that day-to-day operations can impact both directly and indirectly the environment. We aim to protect and improve the environment through good management and by adopting best practice wherever possible. Top Selection will work to integrate environmental considerations into our business decisions and adopt greener alternatives wherever possible, throughout our operations.
In all our activities we aspire to:
- Understand the sensitivities of our customers, including the pressures of growing and changing statutory and public concern about environmental issues, and assist them in complying with environmental best practice
- Take all reasonable steps to prevent pollution of the environment
- Raise staff awareness of environmental issues and promote individual good practice
- Identify opportunities to reduce any environmental impact of our activities at an early stage and adopt these changes where appropriate
- Make efficient and environmentally responsible use of energy, water and other natural resources
- Minimize waste and increase recycling
- Promote environmentally responsible purchasing.
- Improve the environmental efficiency of our transport and travel.
- Communicate the importance of environmental issues to our partners and staff, and encourage feedback regarding our environmental issues and concerns.
- Encourage proposed and existing suppliers to investigate and introduce environmentally responsible processes and products, and ensure that consideration is given to the cost and benefits of environmentally responsible alternatives.
All employees are responsible for working towards the objectives contained within this policy.
Environmental management is everyone’s responsibility, and a prime responsibility of all levels of management, and I expect everyone to contribute to achieving our overall objective.
We will provide adequate and appropriate resources to implement this policy and will ensure it is properly communicated and understood.
My aim, and those of the Executive, is to encourage initiative and adopt best practice in a culture where employees and managers are aware of their individual responsibilities for the environment and actively engaged and committed to improving standards of environmental management.
