Michel Windholtz carries on his grandfather’s work at the Marcel Windholtz distillery in Ribeauville. This distillery is the smallest of the three artisanal distilleries of Alsace of great reputation. The quality of fruit is of primary importance since the whole fruit – skin, pits, seeds and all goes into the mix.

Michel Windholtz is a magician at distillation, and the quality of his eaux-de-vie is remarkable. In November 2018, the Marcel Windholtz distillery was selected by the Revue des Vins de France among the 15 best fruit distilleries in the world and was even ranked number 1 in this selection.

The Alsace fruit is healthy and well-raised, benefiting from its renowned origin and consistent quality.

Windholtz constantly aim to select and use fruits that will allow their eaux-de-vie to have style in order to provide a dense pleasure to those who taste them.
