The domain is located in the heart of the Muscadet Sèvre & Maine appellation, south of Nantes near the town of Clisson. It is a simple estate run by Bernard Maillard, the domain’s fourth generation winemaker, dedicated to maintaining the authenticity of the terroir whilst incorporating new innovations. The nineteen hectares of vines are sustainably farmed by limiting the use of pesticides whenever possible. The wines, which are produced and stored underground in glass and stainless steel vats, are considered to be some of the most elite in the Muscadet region.
